When I was in undergrad in college I saw David Duke speaking in front of the Alabama State Capital with his infamous Halloween costume on, looking like Casper the Unfriendly Ghost with his pointed hat. He was there with a group of his fellow Klansmen. I can't remember what he was supposed to be demonstrating for that day. I just remember wishing I had a rotten tomato so I could add some color to his outfit.

The next time I saw David Duke, he was my state representative when I lived in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. He's the real deal. He is hate personified. Unfortunately he's as American as apple pie.

I haven't tasted it, but dude really loves that pie. It must be really really good. As many problems as we're faced with now as a country, the last thing we need at this point is the itis. Or then again, maybe that is what we really need?!?

I wonder if he'd want one of his own children to live on $7.25 an hour?!? The fact that he doesn't think there should even be a minimum wage speaks volumes.
These guys don't have souls.
It would be difficult for someone with children to live off twice that. Yet these poor, unwashed, toothless, under educated, backwoods, no benefits having, incestuous oxygen thieves go to the poles in their millions every two years to vote Republican. I don't get it.

I must admit that I enjoy cable as well.............but damn!!!!

I'm just glad that he finally lost enough hair to have to get rid of that wicked combover he used to have not that long ago.

When I think of Guiliani, well there are a few things about him that I don't care for, but the one thing that stands out about the man for me is his blatant hypocrisy. When President Clinton was embroiled in the disgrace associated with boning Monica, Rudy was calling for the president to resign. He called our president despicable. But when Rudy got caught with his side piece, he asked that the press respect his family's privacy.

But hey, at least he got rid of that combover, that shit was downright awful.

Nice post Darcwonn.
I must admit that I have mixed emotions about this as well.
There is a big part of me that says that Marcus Smart should have ignored the trash talk, just like Martin Luther King or Gandhi or Jackie Robinson would have......but, I guess that's why they're special and the rest of us are just human.
If he were my son, I would have counselled him to ignore the ignorant person who felt that just because he spent $20 on a ticket, that he felt that he had a right to speak to him any kind of way. But lets be real, would he have spoken to a big college athlete like that at Walmart?!? Or does he do it in a stadium or some such place with security around him?!? I'm not upset that the idiot in the stands got pushed and it wouldn't have hurt my feelings to see him get punched in the mouth, I just wish that it wasn't Marcus Smart that did that.
I'm proud to be an American, but some of my fellow Americans feel entitlements that I don't feel. For instance, that they have a right to say whatever they want to anyone else, simply because Freedom of Speech is guaranteed under our Constitution.
