I shared a discussion on this element of Social Media this morning at my networking breakfast group.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyways, I agree that setting a plan is important to reach a realistic goal, but I'd also say that diving into something doesn't always hurt.  Sometimes learning what you can't do or what doesn't work, may lead to similiar (or completely new) ideas that do.  I think experience with different types of social media tools can also help you excel with the tools that do work for your objectives. I may be able to organize an earlier gathering of folks that attend the show, but I'm wondering about an 8:30pm-10:30pm time slot for this Wednesday (7/15) evening...any chance of that working out?
