I am SUPER cold-natured and it has been sub-zero here in Upstate NY...and let me tell ya a salad just does NOT go good on a cold blustery day (especially after snowblowing and shoveling!). Not to mention the FFV selection is at its worst this time of year. I have been sneaking all kinds of cooked veggies and, although I know they aren't as good as raw, I feel I gotta do what I gotta do...just like you.

Heres to warmer weather and raw-er cravings!

Re: Who says savory can't be fun?

I made this yesterday and it was AWESOME! The only things I did different were that I subbed salt and a splash of ACV for the miso and Braggs (food allergies) and I mixed some of the ketchup in with the "meatloaf" instead of just on top.

I am having leftovers today for lunch...can't wait! ;0)

Re: Feeling hot, hot, hot

Have I told you that you are brilliant lately?!!!!! My kids are going to LOVE these meatloaf "cuppies" (my kids call them cuppies). I already had leftover whipped cream in the fridge from the cupcakes I tried of yours. I just made some of the cookies and threw them in the dehydrator tonite (round though, instead of rectangle). I couldn't wait until they were done so I snuck one and sandwiched some whipped cream between...delicious! I can't wait until they are frozen. I know my kids will love them as much as me!

Re: Charlotte's Cupcake Web

You did it again with a perfect raw substitute for kids! I just made them again only i made donut holes and covered them with india tree sprinkles (for the kids)...perfect sub for all those autumn parties where people bring dunkin donuts holes!

Thanks so much!!! ;0)

Re: It is or is not on the menu

The thing I love the MOST about your blog is most of your recipes are so very kid friendly! My kids (not to mention myself) are gonna LOVE the pudding! ...and I can't wait to try the "fried tomatos" and maybe even "fried pickles" myself!

Thanks again Shannon! ;0)
