This is tragic. And frustrating in the sense that I cannot be sure how we as a society &also as a Christian society are supposed to react. What is the appropriate response? And how do we effectively approach this with resolution? I'm as frustrated as you are, as we all are. And tragically sad.

Agreed. But you're not 'getting' that we don't need to discuss it at all. Its really not about us. Any conversation we have about it should be pro active maybe? But this is after all America &we are all entitled to our opinions

As a Christian I do not condone what he did. As a Christian I am not however supposed to judge what he did. Its between him & God now. It always was. He was wrong. It does not make us right. You are entitled to how you feel, I respect both your opinion and your anger. You are entitled and right. Its just so sad, he was wrong, and yet I feel sad for him.

Absolutely!!! I agree completely that's what I've been saying. He was scared. She was scared. Yes its wrong but no more so then us bashing a dead family's memory

I, like everyone, understand completely your horror and frustration over the tragedy in California. I felt all the things you stated and maybe more. But to call a man a coward, and cruelly dismiss him and his entire character the day after his death is a little much I think. I think he is probably now, as he was before, feeling the full effect of his decision in a way you and I could not understand. I agree with everything you stated. I understand your motives. However, perhaps we could excercise a little tact, it is still tragic.
