I have trouble trying to come up with a good reason to wake up earlier then I need too??!!? I sometimes wake up for hours from 1 or 2am... So sometimes my best sleep is between 5 & 7. So it's really hard to convince myself that getting up early would be a good thing..... Maybe I need a perspective change??

Hey Spence - I haven't checked your blog for a really long time. So good to hear you have a little Micah (I have an awesome little Micah as a nephew. - Proud Aunt plug). I just watched a 'Top Gear' doco of those three POM's driving through South America. They hit some incredibly high altitudes so much so that not only were there bodies suffering but so were their cars. They ended up having to turn around. Makes you realise how important our oxygen is hey... something that we daily take for granted!

It seems like the need here in Nashville is very fluid. If I find out
about something it seems that people are onto it within 24 hours. A
lot of demo work is being done of late. I'd prob almost recommend
getting in touch with CrossPoint and/or Hands on Nashville
(www.hon.org). I think itd be best if you came to just have a couple
of options yp your sleeve. I worked in Bellevue on Sunday but haven't
been able to get back out this week unfortunately.

Keep in touch though. I'd love to meet you!

I agree. I wonder if this tragedy is God's way of rebuilding a nation on a more solid foundation. Ironically enough this morning I was reading from 1 Cor 3:10 onwards. I think we need to pray that strong foundations are rebuilt... and all of the comments you addressed happen. One thing I do know is there is a hold on any building programs as government officials in the process of establishing appropriate building codes. So hopefully that is a good start!

Hmmm.... I'm not real sure. Not sure how legal it is but I did see campfires from where people have camped before up top. Have you ever climbed it? I've always just driven to that area for day trips. That mountains not a real big climb. Mt Beewah is a bit more intense though!

I'll never forget your mum and dad taking me to Frome to meet up with my great Aunt. I think in all honesty your dad had the most fun that day - meeting my agile 84 year old aunt AND checking out the Op shops for Vinyls! Thanks for the pic post... good memories!

Thanks so much for sharing. I'm glad Andrew was ok. I think my sister probably had a ruptured appendix too. Her insides where in a bad way. She's on the road to recovery... not better yet... but definitely getting there.
