Hi Dave,you have grasped the horns of the blogging bulls!!!Great blogging is an uncommon phenomenon in blogosphere, when it should be otherwise.

The web has thrown up a whole new open space for free speech, debate and critical thinking and discussion.

Yet we can hardly find great blogging. WHY??? The reason, I believe is the reluctance of bloggers to run foul of powerful vested interests by pointing out shortcomings/weaknesses.

It requires courage to question authority.In fact, governments are already persecuting bloggers for exposing embarrassing titbits about political leaders.

The solution, I suggest, is to instil the Socratic Way Of Education in our families and societies!

This means founding a new independent global educational system based on enlightened ideas. It also means the urgent need for what I would call a GLOBAL FREE PRESS(gfp) INDEPENDENT OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY OR GOVERNMENT, established in a completely neutral zone!

Within the gfp, we should have a BRAVE BLOGGERS(bb) vanguard to go to the aid of any persecuted bloggers worldwide. This is to counter the attempt of any government to shut up and imprison any courageous blogger for questioning misguided leadership or exposing wrongs!

I hope my comment and vision for GLOBAL FREE PRESS(gfp) with BRAVE BLOGGERS vanguard would merit attention and consideration to promote, strengthen and enhance free speech,debate and intelligent discussion and decision-making in future. Thank you for your kind attention!
