If you’re the defendant and you settle out of court isn’t that about the same as admitting guilt?  It seems that I recall this being brought up several years ago.  And didn’t that State Senator get a standing ovation with the type and amount of evidence that he had?  And for some unknown reason the prosecutor would not look into any of the evidence?  I wonder if that was because the prosecutor knew how costly it would be to the taxpayer in the form of law suits?  Several years ago when all of this was going on I think I read of only 2 maybe 3 people and now it’s up to 10?  $500K each?  That’s $5 mill of the taxpayer’s money that could have been spent on something other than a cover up.  And in the last paragraph you’ll notice that fingers are being pointed at people that cannot be reached.&lt;br&gt;The voters sent the same corrupt politicians back to Charleston so the voters get exactly what they deserve.
