I'd be really interested to see how Chrome would fare against Firefox now that we're approaching 6 months since the original Faceoff...

Re: Honk: Car Shopping With a Social Twist

Interesting, although it was probably just a matter of time before something like this came out - it's only natural to seek the opinion of others when it comes to purchases like a car, which for many people is the second largest purchase they'll ever make. It certainly seems like a sensible move to set this up as an engine rather than it's own network.

Re: The Value of Voice

I agree, how are you supposed to report without some sort of bias given the amount of information coming at you these days? I think that this is an acceptable situation, as long as the bias is open and obvious (e.g. Fox). In fact, I find it quite interesting listening to reporters like yourself giving their opinions on the facts - I may not always agree with the points made, but it's exactly the type of discussion that I would have with my peers on certain topics.

I, for one, support Open Journalism!

Re: Did Opening Night Twitter Reviews Sink Bruno’s Weekend Box Office?

I find it a bit hard to believe that social media had that much of an effect. If you were interested in seeing this movie, you would already have a reasonable idea of what to expect, especially given the high level of hype leading up to it. Blaming social media is giving twitter et al way more credit than they deserve.

Re: Peashoot - Sneak Preview

Simple and sweet is far better :)

Re: Peashoot - Sneak Preview

Very, very interesting. I assume that you wouldn't have any problems with "big scary corporates" trying out your software? The current state of reporting and tracking in our current campaign marketing is woefully slow and inadequate...

Re: GoonCity - isometric pixel town with Googlemaps interface: http://gooncity.com/city.htm › Yongfook - Web Producer

Quite possibly the most awesome thing I've seen all week - very, very cool :)

Re: Plex...colour me impressed: http://plexapp.com › Yongfook - Web Producer

I've also been playing with this over the last couple of days - very tasty indeed, if a little buggy still.
