Hmmm, I think maybe the best way to think of it is in terms of love.
God loves us, alot!
In fact I would go so far as to say God loves you just the way you are.
Period.
God wants us to know his love completely and wants us to experience His way, not our own. Sin is a fancy name for something that is getting in the way of us fully experiencing Gods love.
God's way of fully experiencing life.
Is love.
But sin gets in the way, it's our own imitation of that real love. No matter what it is, telling a lie to make ourselves seem cooler/smarter/richer than we really are to pulling a David (as in the bible) and committing murder to try and solve our problems. All sin is equal in the fact that it separates us from that true understanding of what God's world, God's love is.
Honestly, it's hard for me to say much because I have very few friends that are openly gay and I have never had honest dialogue with them about their struggles.
I will say that it's weird to me that many churches take such a strong stand against homosexuality but are ok with their pastors being obese.
Lets just all agree to not pick and choose verses we would like to live by while condemning others who take the same approach. I read this today and thought it was relevant:
"Jesus wants to save us from shrinking the Gospel down to a transaction about the removal of sin and not about every single particle of creation being reconciled to its maker."
Hope this helps :-)

Re: Your First Job

I cleaned brass instruments in the basement of a music shop for a summer. I ended up going back to school a ghostly shade of white and ended up smelling like bleach and rusty metal everyday I finished work.

Re: There Are Two Phones In this World: iPhone and Not iPhone

There is an iPhone shaped hole and no matter what else seems to be out there none of it can beat the fit of Apple's little slice of usability. I've had mine over a year and it has become irreplaceable in terms of functionality and features (both of which continue to be updated, for free). Really the price was the only deterrent, something worth mentioning, but I can't put a price on it's ability to seamlessly cross so many functions in my life.

Re: That Day I Exercised Demons.
