GitLab 13.0 released with Gitaly Clusters, Epic Hierarchy on Roadmaps, and Auto Deploy to ECS

The update appeared to be successful, but visiting the site would do nothing except 502. After trying various things (rebooting services, rebooting the server, verifying config values, looking at logs, etc.), I ended up having to rollback to 12.10.6, which worked. The only error I could find anywhere in the logs was "badgateway: failed to receive response". I'll probably hold off until a point release before attempting again.

Re: PhpStorm 2020.1 Released: Out-of-the-box composer.json Support, Improved Type Inference, PHPUnit Toolbox, Grazie Grammar Checker, and More

I just tried again and I uninstalled (not just disabled like yesterday) every single plugin I wasn't using and one of them fixed it. I've since reverted
to 2019.3.4, but the only thing that allowed it to detect
anything PHP-related outside of my vendor folder was
to completely wipe out everything PhpStorm related in
~/Library/Application Support, ~/Library/Caches, ~/Library/Preferences,
and ~/Library/Saved Application States. I tried invalidating caches,
restarting numerous times, opening a new project, deleting the .idea
folder of an existing project, enabling disabled bundled plugins and
disabling third party plugins, and messing with interpreter settings.
Nothing I did allowed PHP to work in any file outside of the vendor
folder, including class recognition and code hinting PHP methods like
typing array_.

Re: Langdon TV Series Pilot Ordered by NBC – /Film

Blood & Treasure, which premiered last year, was similar too. They wanted to introduce it in the first Thor but were missing the rights to key characters. Same happened in Avengers where they originally wanted the alien force to be Skrulls. Now they have both and are trying to push the MCU to be more cosmic, so it being the first S.W.O.R.D. base that Fury is overseeing construction of by the Skrulls (who we now know he has had a relationship with for nearly 30 years and are not nefarious as they usually are in the comics) seems like the obvious explanation.

Fury realized most of the threats are coming from space. S.H.I.E.L.D. has space capabilities now, but are primarily an Earth-based spy organization (that Fury isn't in control of anymore anyway). So he's creating S.W.O.R.D. to safeguard Earth from extraterrestrial threats. Not to mention it'd be a great start to the story for Captain Marvel 2

Re: [Update x3: Qualcomm responds] OnePlus left a backdoor in its devices capable of root access

Is this installed in Oxygen OS or on the device itself? I get what you are saying about it but at the same time, Tarkin had said two or three times at that point that he was sending Vader to lead a mop-up crew. In the original trilogy, you are meant to fear Vader. He is meant to be the most powerful, most evil being you have ever seen before but beyond a force choke and indifference towards Alderaan and maybe his introduction in Bespin, you never truly see why you are meant to fear him.

That one scene gave that to you. You saw where the fear comes from. You saw that Vader was, without a doubt, capable of singlehandedly cutting through every single rebel in the Alliance. It sent shivers down my spine. I went and saw the film a second time largely for that one scene.

It gives me hope that Disney will do to Star Wars what they did with Marvel. With Marvel, the movies all fit together but they are often completely different genres. I am hopeful that scene was a taste of what we could see in the future. We've had 7 space opera/sci-fi action films. We've now had a war/spy movie. Han Solo will likely be a heist film (although I guess that remains to be seen). What I want is a movie dedicated to the months and years after RotS. I want to see the Great Jedi Purge and in my mind, it is a horror film where Darth Vader, his Inquisitors, and Dark Jedi round up any remaining Jedi, and their protectors, and wipe them out.

Re: Watch New Trailers for '24: Legacy', 'Prison Break' & Two More FOX TV Shows

APB seems like the cop version of Pure Genius.
