Yes they do convert, but the sad part is that they display amount in your account as USD (and a few other currencies) and allows you to send in these currencies only. So if you want to send Rs 1500 to me, you will have to send a $ amount. This alone prevents its mass usage in India...

Being a ecommerce person, my cry is for payment gateways .... If only PayPal has INR display option, all Indian Payment gateways would have been under 10x pressure...

The most messed up IVR is of HSBC Credit Cards division. Banking surely needs to develop...

We need paypal to start transacting in INR ... they already support banks here !!

Now thats hard to believe. I sincerely feel that WWDC will see new iPhones. No special event can be as big as that! With rising competition from Nokia, Android and Palm ... Apple wont miss such a launch opportunity.
