I was fine with the ending. I suppose, if you were expecting a big fight, it would be kind of dissapointing. But I looked at it from a different perspective. After all, the Cullens were preparing for a fight, but to them that was more of a fall-back. The main goal for them was to stop the fight from happening. The fact that there was going to be a fight was sort of implied, but from a different view it wasnt. The Volturi, which have manipulated vampires before, are coming to destroy the Cullens, who dont want this to happen. They take actions against it, gathering witness, coming up with ways to avoid the Volturi's accusations, and have the fighting as an alternative. The Volturi come, and the Cullens stand up to them, defy them. They dont let the Volturi take advantage of them, falsly accuse them, and kill innocent vampires. Standing up to the Volturi and showing them that they, as independant vampires, will not stand for the injustice described as justice. That was the Cullens goal, not fighting and trying to survive. The only reason they were thinking about fighting so much was because they were convinced the Volturi would not listen to them.

actually, when bella is being attacked by laurent she jumps back from jacob. also, bella is not what i would describe as "most teenagers in high school". and plus, this isnt a friend, it is a book, and if Stephenie said they were six feet high on all fours, then that means they are. books dont exaggerate unless they note that it is an exaggeration. if you're figuring that every book in the point of view of a high schooler is going to be exaggerated, you may have some proportions wrong.

Kaleb, I owe you a humongous thanks for introducing me to owl city through your videos. ever since i started listening to his music a few months ago, owl city has been my favorite band. his new album especially is completely and totally awesome. i dont even have a favorite of his songs, they are too amazing for me to pick a favorite.

Kaleb, you really must have jetlag because you missed alot of underlying points in this chapter that seen obvious to me. So, first, Bella changing. Bella's blood, though still singer-rank-tempation for Edward, is not appealing to him as food anymore because of his absolute horror at doing anything to her that will hurt her. When he changed her, she had a detached placenta, a broken spine, many other broken bones, two rebroken ribs, had lost so much blood that she was covered in it, was still bleeding, and needed to have her heart pumped and CPR done. Obviously there was no way she was going to recover from this as a human, the only thing that could help her was vampire venom, and lots of it.

And Jacob. When Bella basically died but was sort of alive and got bitten by Edward, Jacob felt like the pull to be with her had left, or at least moved away, down the stairs and out the door. Bella being bitten meant almost nothing to him, because he was absoutely sure that she was dead and Edward's attempt to "reanimate her corpse" was completely pointless. Then he looked at Renesmee. Did you not realize what happened there?

Oh well. In a few (many) years, I'll graduate from high school, go to college in Seattle, and then MOVE to Forks. I already have this planned, and I'm only eleven. : ) Awesome video. Ah, Kaleb. Your not knowing whats gonna happen is cracking me up. Right now, he can't leave her, and she can't tell him to leave, for reasons you will soon find out. But, if we are assuming Bella can and does tell Jacob to go away, I think he will leave her alone, but won't leave. He will stay around the Cullens' house to protect them and Bella. He just will avoid Bella. Then when he is positive she is out of danger, he will run away for good.

OMT, Kaleb! My birthday is September 9! that's 7 days before yours (and the day Bran Hambric comes out). the 16th is also the date Edward leaves Bella in New Moon. : ( sad....

haha "where hath all mine time gone?" i'm thinking the exact opposite. I want this year to be over with. cant wait for my school to get out.
