Gah, I can't wait to see that movie. Everytime I see the trailer on TV, I'm just filled to the brim with this wonderful, unexplainable feeling, you know? I can't really describe it, but it makes me smile.
On a sidenote, I highly recommend Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. The animation is mindblowingly amazing and the entire movie is saturated with this fabulous quirky humor. It's definitely in my top 5 favorite animated movies, along with UP and Wall-E. Go see it, if you get a chance. It's worth it. Even if you don't end up loving it, I guarantee that it will make you smile. :)

I saw you at Six Flags on Tuesday. You guys were awesome!
A song recommendation: Kiss of Life by Friendly Fires. It's so energetic and free, and the music video echoes those feelings perfectly.
A random movie recommendation: Have you heard about (500) Days of Summer? It's an indie film that just came out. I highly recommend it; it's brilliant. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it a million more times.

I'm a vegetarian. I don't think I've had anything vegan (except for chocolate soy milk, which is DELICIOUS). That cookie looks extremely yummy, though. I'll have to try more vegan foods.

That's an awful way to have to spend your birthday. I can relate. Your birthday last year sounds about as horrible as my birthday last year (though mine didn't involve jury duty).

I love Move On Now, too, especially the piano. It lends greatly to the melancholy feeling. It's a beautiful song!

I know it's too late for you to see this, but this (insane) idea just occurred to me. I think you should convince everyone in AK to do a séance with you. I mean, have you seen how many people are going to be there with you in spirit? That's a lot of spirits in one place. A séance could be potentially entertaining. Crazy stuff would happen! Fun would be had! Spirits would appear!
Seriously. It would work.

Poison Oak is amazing. It really does resonate within you. I love songs like that.
I've always loved the lyrics in You Are The Moon by The Hush Sound because of the poetic quality to them, the imagery involved, and how Greta sings the lyrics so gently. It's kind of like a lullaby. It reminds me of a soft, almost sad smile. It's beautiful.

I don't have much experience with planes, but I've had my fair share of long train rides. I love them. A long train ride is kind of like a small, contained, alternate universe for me. It can be thrilling, relaxing, entertaining, or whatever. I brought some books, some CDs, a portable CD player, and a notebook. I've done some of my best writing on trains, where my only connection to the outside world is what I can see from my window. It's so peaceful.
Now, I love my technology and I'm on the internet for hours at a time, but some of the best/happiest times can often be had without any sort of technology at all. We don't need internet access in planes for the same reasons expressed in Weiner's article. It was a very good article, by the way. Thanks for sharing it, William!

This is a beautiful cover, William, and a beautiful song in general. It's very soothing.
