I think it's a great move... if blockquotes or relies to comments 'drill down'. Lets see if this works (test)

If this is bold... this italic... & this underlined...

The BBCodeExtra addon in Firefox will do the coding for you (it's got a great spell check, too.)

I had the same problem at first... Given two choices and I usually screw up the first time!. Lucky for us the menu for the code option that doesn't work can be ~~disabled~~ removed.

Being of the era (and in the neighborhood) my first thoughts of Bill Graham are initially anger... There was a lot of angry because he charged us $3 where as before he set up shop Speedway Meadows concerts happened almost every weekend during good weather and they were FREE!!! All in all though he's contribution to rock and roll is immeasurable.

Note: His last show (the "Bill Graham Memorial Concert" at the Polo Grounds 11/3/91) was free and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

I Googled "Gulf Threat May Not Have Come From Iranian Boats" and there were to many to cut and paste.

FWIW - Firefox is the way to go when blogging. Spell Check and HTML Coding alone should make even the most diehard Microsoft fan (I'm in that group) give it a try.

When blockquoting a quote larger then the comment box (an everyday occurrence for most) BBCodeXtra works best if you: a) copy quote to 'clipboard'; b) right click where you want the blockquote inserted; c) select "htmlXtra"; d) select "Clipboard"; e) select "Quote".
Your entire quote will now be inside the blockquote markers... FWIW

The Congress and the Executive and that's just plain ridiculous which brings back to the original point of this thread... LIES.

"God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater" was the first Kurt Vonnegut book I read... the last was "A Man Without A Country". In between I have read and re-read every one of his books. Everyone that is except for "God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater"...

Once Vonnegut gets a hold of a mind he doesn't let go... But then again, I've never heard of anyone who wanted him to stop. His death last year was a shock but he would probably have wished us to use it as a lesson in mortality.

FWIW: He would probably have preferred his passing to be either ten days earlier or 355 days later... April Fools Day would have been so very apropos :)
