SO true! It is such a unique movie site!

I really hope that ballpark development does NOT happen right by the field and movie site. It would strip away so much of what makes that site magical and relaxing. Just play some catch on the field or sit in the bleachers and watch others. Or just walk the bases.

Right?! If the person was a beloved pet, they'd be eased out of their suffering. Yet legalities call it "murder" or "suicide" :-( Stacy Tidwell below had a great post but... yeah... just sucks that the HUMAN body has to go through the natural process and no one is allowed to help that person go, even if they wanted it.

Anyone who says that has clearly NEVER had a loved one in hospice care. They don't know how hard it is knowing that there really is nothing more you can do except ease their passing... and knowing if that person was a pet instead of a human, they would have been eased out peacefully and not endure those final, horrible days.

He actually told her in the past to chill with the surgery, to grow old naturally. He's also made several ultimatums about rehab or he'd divorce her. BUT he also left his wife for her so... who knows.

Such a great post!

We need to remember panda moms (and keepers!) know the cubs best. Sometimes I think we view cubs in the terms of babies of our species: Panda play that seems rough to us is fun to them. We'd never knock down a 7 month-old human infant or yank them down off a high chair because we know it would hurt them, whereas it's a game with Mei and Bao Bao. My rule of thumb during cubbie-tumbles is "If Mei's not worried, I'm not worried". She's a great mom and she knows her baby!

I agree. Surely a light grey to match the tones or ANY neutral-pastel color besides one that matched her skin. She looked too naked. While it's OK for someone 18+ it's not OK for an 11 year-old. It was disturbing.

Yup. She's not in my life, nor does she affect it. If her family is healthy and happy and that approach is what works for her... c'est la vie. She's been married almost 20 years so clearly her approach is suitable for her marriage!

He cost the Clippers sponsorship money. He became a liability. If you become a liability for YOUR job with your private views in your own home because someone shared them... same thing. Actually, he'd been having issues for a while with his racist views affecting his work. This was the straw that broke the camel's back.

And as I said above... statements made cannot affect how others PERCEIVE your abilities do your job. They have determined he is unfit for the position. In their perception: He is not able to properly work with people he clearly hates. He created a hostile work environment and he cost the Clippers a great deal of sponsorship money. He became a liability.
