I hear what you're saying. However, what is your plan for actually stopping Obama from being so lawless? I'm not talking about a few Republicans trying to impeach him but failing to get the votes for it in the Senate. I'm talking about actually, truly, STOPPING Obama from breaking the law the way he's doing? See what I mean? I understand the push behind the Impeachment thing. I truly do. The problem is, that is going to rile up the Democratic Base which will go out EN FORCE to vote for Democrats in November and that could make things all that much worse.

That's true...he is. However if the law is actually PASSED by both parties of Congress, then his "ignoring" it is not going to do the Democrats ANY favors at all. And they will not appreciate that from someone they've supported for so long. He's ignoring laws now. He won't get impeached for real now because at this time, the Democrats will still back him up. The Republicans can try and that will strengthen the Democrat base at this point. However, it won't be that way forever. Especially if the Republicans take the Senate in November. After that time, it's possible he COULD be impeached, convicted, and removed from office. But we need to bide our time right now.

Why does it have to be ILLEGALS? If these people truly do have a humanitarian crisis in their countries, figure out a way where they can request asylum here and get it in an expedited manner. All paperwork filled out and turned in. Then team these families up with American families who can help look out for them and help them learn the ropes here. Forget all this squandering of our tax dollars on people who have broken the law.

I think that there needs to be a law that says Congress MUST review every "Executive Action" after 90 days and either give it a "green light" to keep it going or a "red light" to make it go away. If Congress had to vote on EVERYTHING Obama does with his "pen and phone", he'd probably not be so quick to skirt the law all the time.

What's so stupid about passing a law that says an Executive Order stands for 90 days only and after 90 days, Congress needs to decide to KEEP the action or throw it out? If it were the law that Congress had to review EVERY Presidential "Executive Action" why would that be stupid? Are you saying that the rest of the actions of Congress are stupid, too? Congress is an equal branch of Government with the President to provide "checks and balances". What's wrong with Congress reviewing Executive Actions?? I don't understand...

Actually, I think the Democrats are HOPING the GOP tries to Impeach Obama so they can scream about how horrible the GOP is: Remember the "Government Shutdown" that was as much Harry Reid and Obama's fault (they dug their heels in and REFUSED to negotiate) as it was the Republicans? But the GOP got blamed by the Democrats AND the media for the entire thing. That's the type of thing that would happen with an impeachment attempt at this point.

The problem is, an "impeachment" (because of the numbers) will not actually lead to a conviction for Obama and trying to impeach him will empower the Democratic Base who will come out in droves in November to vote for the Democratic candidates. If we don't take the Senate in November, things will be very, very, VERY bad for any type of Conservative action at all. That's the problem; not that we don't think Obama should be stopped. The problem is that the Democrats as well as some RINOs have been allowing Obama to do whatever the heck he wants to do. If we can take the Senate and maintain the House, we can block Obama much better. Then we need to pass laws limiting "Executive Action" for Presidents.
