Yeah, I remember back in the days when I started playing Monster Hunter Freedom for the PSP and I literally knew nobody around who even have heard of the game. When I tried to get some friends to play it as well, they didn't have the patience to do it (boy that game was harsh), so it was just me and the games. Things got better with the 3DS version (Tri Ultimate, 4 Ultimate) but even at that moment I didn't expected this huge success.

The end of this trilogy is referred as an origin story since people is exposed to the reality of the existence of super humans. This will eventually unlock the super powers of those who has them hence creating new super heroes and villains alike.
