The Simpsons' episode 'The Computer Wore Menace Shoes' which paid homage to The Prisoner is perhaps the best ever remake.

They should have left it alone after that.

I think showing ads in the Outbrain suggestions is a fantastic idea; even moreso that you can choose the charity you want to benefit from the visibility of ads in your stream.

I can't really see a subscription-only model working, given players already have to fork out to play the game in the first place, so there would have to be some sort of sweetener in place to entice players to subscribe.

Books and comics based on video games have on the whole been stinkers, and I can't really see this offering being anything different.

I loved Rolemaster... it was just a shame you needed a maths degree to generate your character - at least in the early editions.

The critical damage system was a fantastic addition and really made combat, and even some simple acts deadly! I've lost more than one character by falling out of a tree...

What happens if YouTube or your ISP farts and dies midway through a viewing? Would you be able to pick up where you left off, or be faced with shelling out another $3.99 in order to finish watching what you've paid for?

I doubt I'll be streaming movies from YouTube but if I did I'd be much more likely to pay for a monthly, unlimited subscription rather than a pay-per-film model.

The new Dredd concept sounds promising at least.. I hope it turns out to be so, unlike the Dan Cannon/Stallone turkey.
