Hey Clay, thanks for writing something so real. We've all done some really rotten things, and that is why Thank God we are saved by grace! It is always nice too see and hear where we've been, it seems no matter how good or bad things get we always need reminders.

Beautiful! I love the Labor Day idea. The only thing about reclaiming it in my area, is that none of the immigrant workers would ask, or want, to get off work. In GA so much of our manual and farm labor is done by these workers, I don't know what would happened if a majority took off on the same day. There have been some corporate buyouts over the last year that forced many to lose their jobs because the corporation wanted to be "legal." In almost every instance the immigrant worker was later called back and told that they could not find a replacement and would like to rehire the worker. They are the real laborers of the US of A!

Thank you for printing this, I have read much about his books but never an entire book. I fully agree that social justice and spiritual practices merge in such a unique way that allows God to weave and work through the other. And he is right, "everything must change....beginning with me."
