I agree, Doc that many, many fears are generated & manipulated by whoever the controllers are in any given society & point in history. I was raised in a fundamentalist family of "god fearing Christians". Even as a child, I wondered what kind of puny god gets off on human fear or needs humans to "worship" him every Sunday. And yet, I think Bruce C's list of affirmations such as "I live in a safe and sane world" are very helpful. It isn't enough to just cognitively "know" we are and have been lied to throughout our lives by parents and others who were also lied to. We didn't just hear cliches like "god fearing Christians", "nice guys finish last" once or twice. We heard them over and over again. In my opinion repetitive reinforcement of a counter narrative is very helpful,

A few years ago I used to read sites like Jeff Rense, Prison Planet, Alex Jones, etc but no longer do so. I started noticing that so many of the awful things described simply didn't happen. I believe humanity is in a consciousness shift and I see no reason why at least some corporate business leaders cannot also respond and move with the rest of the world into the coming paradigm shift. David Wilcock calls this negative tendency "fear porn" and, like you gets negative responses from some of his readers. In a posting mid April 2010, David wrote:

"I will not be silenced. The words of hate are but pebbles thrown against the hull of a giant ship that is now setting sail. It's up to you whether you want to plague your life with fear porn or finally start to trust that this is all being guided towards a very, very positive future."

I thought the video was telling. Ron Paul's refusal to back down and demanding an apology as well as his whole demeanor was quite different from Stein's reaction to the word "Occupation". The sentence that sent Stein into an apartheid fit was "We are occupying them". I do not think Ron Paul used the word "We" to mean the U.S. and Israel. I think Ron meant the U.S. only and, therefore "them" in the sentence refers to the 3 Moslem countries the U.S. is occupying - Iraq, Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan.

But Stein heard "We" to include Israel and I think probably heard "them" to mean only Palestine. Psychiatrists call this inability to determine where "I" ends and "someone else" begins, a psychiatric problem of poor "boundaries". It's one of the main underlying dynamics of Domestic Violence and explains why you read in the news about the husband that killed his wife & kids before turning the gun on himself. People with poor "boundaries" also tend to have very weak identities. They define themselves not by what they are and their own intrinsic qualities (male, jew) but what they are not (female, Palestinian, goyim) and therefore they go to extreme degrees to control their victims as the main means of maintaining their own identities (as well as the practical benefits of power over).

I thought the underlying emotion Stein exhibited was panic precisely because Paul was not reacting in a specific way Stein needed him to for his own identity and power purposes. It is the same panic the DV perp exhibits when his wife has left him. I don't think Stein was so much "slurring" Ron Paul with his anti-Semitic charge as he was trying to control him. I also think Stein was trying to reassure himself that he, Israel & Zionists in general are "right".

There really isn't any walking back from forcible oral, anal and vaginal rape of a 13 year old you drugged and then told to keep the little tryst a "secret". This combined with Hollywood's extraordinary lop sided response would seem to me to be seriously weakening the Jewish media brand. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part that this arrest at this time might be part of the "Secret War Against the Jews".

In the LA Times article Xymphora linked to, the author seems genuinely mystified at the country's response.

That's not the point I was trying to make CR. I'm wondering if this is part of what Xymphora has termed the "Secret War Against the Jews". I would dearly love to know the inter-governmental coordination and contacts that went on behind the scenes on this arrest. After all, Polansky's address has not exactly been secret for the last 32 years and he was about to receive a "Lifetime Achievement" award in Zurich. I find the timing exquisite Karma. After all "lifetime achievement" should look at - well, one's lifetime actions.

I think there is a very high level of generalized free floating anger in America directed toward Jewish people at this time, although I'm not sure people are consciously aware of it. People do know the ethnicity/religion of the bulk of the Wall Street crooks like Goldman Sachs as well as the failed regulators like Greenspan. It's almost a subliminal reaction to Lebanon (2006), Gaza and the current Iran talk is triggering memories of the run up to the Iraq war. Again people may not be consciously aware of why they are reacting as they are, but nonetheless it is there.

I thought the tone of the article Xymphora linked to was interesting.

How indeed. It's not so bewildering if one views the story through the lens of Jewish Supremacism, which really means Jews are the world's only victims that count. How can an aging adult male Holocaust victim/survivor possibly morally equate with a non Jewish 13 year old rape victim? In too many Jewish eyes they don't compute any more than a 2009 Palestinian being beaten and tortured in an Israeli concentration camp compares to a historical 1943 Jewish inmate of a German camp. In fact it's Jewish victimization that is supposed to provide the pass for any and all Jewish crimes.

Mr Goldstein apparently wrote an earlier pro-Polanski piece that he stated returned mail running 100 to 1 against him and against Polanski so he wrote the new piece trying to frame the reaction as a right/left, Republican/Democrat debate which boiled down to Republicans/Conservatives are for Law and Order and Democrats/Liberals are nuanced for compassion and forgiveness.

I've just spent an enjoyable time reading 6 pages of comments and I have great faith that ordinary Americans and humanity are going to win this thing. Only a handful of respondents were pro Polanski and pro Goldstein's position, I would say roughly 75-80% of the responses were from self identified liberals or democrats who strongly disagreed with the idea that liberals support drugging and forcible anal, vaginal & oral rape of 13 year olds. Several commented that Polansky's holocaust history or trauma of the Manson murders is irrelevant, pointing out that most people incarcerated had troubled childhoods and histories of victimization. Several pointed out that in the nature of pedophilia it is highly unlikely this girl is Polansky's only victim and some raised the idea that one reason some in Hollywood are rallying around Polansky might be pure self interest - that they themselves might be pedophiles and want to buy a little insurance.

I thought the AP news story on Kristol's death, while it didn't correctly name the reason Kristol and other Jews slid right, nonetheless was surprisingly negative. This statement referencing America's "greatest generation", the WWII vets is very surprising.

The comments to the Fisk article are indeed interesting. Only one was Hasbara Zionist and one other seemed to agree with Fisk's basic message that Lebanon, Syria & Iran did it. Virtually all the others either disagreed or regarded Fisk's commentary as irrelevant without discussing America's earlier take down of the Iranian plane. Several commenters pointed out that Fisk has shifted in the last few months. I have to agree. This is not a very polished hit job.

And where did this surprisingly racist cheap shot come from? "Given the viciousness of the Third Reich predecessors, I've never had a lot of time for German cops, but on this occasion...."

Fisk used to be far more subtle than this. I wonder if Fisk's blowing his cover or losing his cool, whatever is another example of post Gaza fall out?

Thank you for the excellent video. What I think we are seeing here is what is called a phase shift, the point at which cumulative degrees of change reach the point of shifting into something else. eg. water shifting into steam or ice. I think Zionism, Israel & the Jewish Community have reached that proverbial "last straw", "tipping point" and have "jumped the shark", as the saying goes. So many, many cumulative events have occurred the last few years. The Israeli's have done so much in you face actions that it's difficult to ignore them. The cumulative impact is devastating for Zionism. The attack on Lebanon in 2006, AIPAC non trial, Gaza, building the land grab wall, refusing to let Jewish UN investigator Falk in, the torpedoing the Freeman appointment all have played a part.

But I think 2 things are setting up the U.S. for major backlash against Zionism and probably Jews, in general. (1) The more Israel & it's U.S. 5th column agitate for the U.S. to bomb Iran, the more obvious it becomes to many that oil & terrorism were not the reason for Iraq/Afghanistan. (2) The economy tanking. People simply know that the ethnicity of the bulk of the Wall Street crooks, bankers and failed regulators.

I think another aspect of the "war against Zionism" that is happening spontaneously is the rapid collapse of the Jewish controlled media. In last week's NYT column, Frank Rich stated the American Press is on "suicide watch" because of "The cultural disconnect between the journalism establishment and the public it aspires to serve." Frank, did not define the "journalism establishment" as Jewish, but of course it is. I don't think it matters much that people even know which group is lying to them. It's enough that people know they are being lied to to kill off this major source of Zionist manipulation of Americans.

I enjoyed Roger Cohen's New York Times column about Israel "crying wolf" for 20 years on Iran, but then I got to thinking isn't Roger Cohen like Finkelstein also Jewish so I used the MSN search engine on that question.

I came up with the answer that he is a "smart, driven, liberal Jewish male" in a rather depressing, albeit enlightening essay on the subject of Jewish males and Israel posted in the New Jersey Jewish News.

I agree with Horsewhisperer. We've known since at least Machiavelli that institutions collapse when they lose legititimacy. Another thing playing negatively into the Israeli Gaza thing is the state of the economy. Although studiously avoided by the controlled media, most people do "know" that a specific ethnic group is suspiciously over represented amongst both the "regulators" that dropped the ball and the financiers who trashed the economy. I don't know if people are also aware of how much Israel played into the Iraq "war" which is also trashing the economy.

I skimmed about 50 of the 250 comments on the Oliphant cartoon. Pretty much all of them were along the lines that Oliphant nailed what's going on. In my opinion the Gaza attack coming so soon after the 2006 Lebanon attack represents a major global historical shift, including in the United States. Marx wrote about the "molecular theory of revolution" - the idea that the "masses" more or less go along keeping a low profile but are still aware of what's going on around them if only subliminally until some outward event enables suppressed thoughts to explode into the open and into action. It's the idea that 1,000 small slights accumulate to the point of a "phase shift" - ie: the point at which heating water shifts into boiling and then into steam.

Historically we've seen this "sudden" shift. Why did the French storm the Bastille in 1789 and not say 1770 when the conditions were pretty much the same or perhaps wait until 1810? This whole Gaza thing has the feel to me that it's 1989 at the Berlin Wall.

Another thing that is flowing below the radar is the totally unexpressed reality that a disproportionally high percentage of the Wall Street racketeers & mortgage scammers that tanked our economy as well as the failed "regulators" are Jewish. Also in that mix is awareness of the Iraq war. Lots & lots of Americans are aware of the 1996 Jewish Plan for a New American Century which called for war.
