Seemed at the time like the kid had accidentally let the balloon go and then hid to avoid punishment. And now I get constant browser errors as well, in both Safari and Firefox. I can't update to Leopard or Snow Leopard so I'm stuck, and really sad. I've been using Brizzly since it was in beta, convinced many of my friends to do so as well, because it made Twitter so much cooler. I hate having to give it up but I can't have my browsers constantly locked up.

Re: Gloss How-To: Mix a Classic Martini

Not quite understanding the fear of vermouth, I add a full tablespoon to 3 ounces of high quality vermouth. I couldn't remember my ancient log-in, so I made a new one. I do not see Facebook as a great place to interact about one subject, though I know people do, and some of it is probably just my general dislike for the place. But it never feels like a real "group" there. Other realms seem more comfortable and intuitive to me.

Friends and I have a private forum in which we hang out and exchange thoughts on many subjects; the main chatter thread is most active, but we do have separate ones for TV shows, etc. But it's an insular, singular forum, not connected to any other, as is Delphi. So this will be a step back in time for me.

I can understand that a long-running group likes to just stay where it is, and I can participate cheerfully with that in mind, but at the same time wholeheartedly agree that it doesn't seem much a part of the way we now otherwise function on the web.

Re: http://gamerchick02.tumblr.com/post/5748253738

Holy unholiness.

Re: http://gamerchick02.tumblr.com/post/6321268056

I want to touch that.

Re: Sandra Belanger

I guess you take this very seriously if you've experienced it, and therefore need to admonish others for their choices.
