Australia absolutely bags pollies, so anyone of any intent or greater purpose is discouraged from getting involved, so besides those green seats, who I think swim against the river, and good on them, there are too many spineless, biggotted people on both sides of the house.

Things like this will never change beyond snivelling, back handed and insulting legislation as long as Australia and too many of its citizens demand so little of the representatives we elect to speak for us.

This is supposedly the Lucky Fair Go land, but we systematically value gay people less than the rest of us, but we're ok with that because nearly everyone else does it.

As for this ridiculous legislation, IT INCLUDES MISTRESSES. Who the hell writes this contemptible rubbish. Its obivous that this was truly a Friday afternoon jobby at the DoJ, slap some words together, that'll keep the gays quiet, oh we've included whores (3rd definition), well its about time they were given the same recognition as gay people.

The whole thing is just so m/s/addening.
