Unfortunately I don't "have" anyone to complete it but since this is an open source project I will happily accept source code contributions.

Re: Announcing Metapad 3.6

Thanks, I agree that sounds unpleasant. I'll revisit those limits and may address the issue in a future release.

Re: Announcing Metapad 3.6

Thanks, that's a good one to fix.

Re: Announcing Metapad 3.6

Very cool!

--
Alex Davidson
Sent with Sparrow

Re: List of Awesome

When I used Google Reader I used the "Send to" menu on a post to get it into
Instapaper (check out Settings | Send To). I now use Reeder in place of
Google Reader on Mac, iPhone and iPad and I'm not looking back. Reeder has
native Instapaper support. The main benefit of Instapaper is the synching
between all your devices (along with visually optimized and offline
reading).

Re: Announcing Metapad 3.6

Thanks for the kind words Cecil, Alexander, Edgar & HomiSite.

Re: Announcing Metapad 3.6

I didn't see a problem opening a file named like that: http://yfrog.com/gzo2ip

Please email me with more details and I'll see what I can do.

Re: Services + HTML5/iOS, a new model for App development

Great post. My setup is still working very well.

If possible I would exchange the iomega -- otherwise use it as a secondary or sell it to a friend.

Re: Erosion

Good point. Devs tend to avoid thinking about virusscan and malware apps (unless they're providing tech support.)

Plus there is the whole bloatware issue - both pre-installed and driver packaged. That shit bothers everyone.

Re: Erosion

I feel the same way. But don't you think this attitude is more common among developers and IT pros -- ones who really saw and could understand the details of the erosion?

Re: Two spaces or one after a period?

Two spaces after a period is archaic. But I don't think you can do parallel backups with Time Machine.

Here's a guy who is using two drives with Time Machine but he keeps one off site at all times:

http://spyder.wordpress.com...

Re: Homegrown sandwich shop off to good start

The tweet reviews look pretty good:

http://search.twitter.com/s...

Re: metapad turns ten

Yes, the 26.9% in the grey area is made up of 202 different countries.

Re: Prototype dying?

FYI, was just forwarded this pro-prototype article by a colleague:

http://blog.thinkrelevance....

While the arguments in the aforementioned article do not deter me from playing more with jQuery, it is worth noting that there are still some gotchas and much room for improvements to the library.

Re: Prototype dying?

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing as I've been hearing great things about jQuery. In fact I just dropped "jQuery in Action" onto my desk at work today but couldn't quite bring myself to dig in yet. I'm hoping it's not just hype.

Re: A New Blog Resolution

Thanks for the first comment Sam!
