I frequently use short term to share large presentations etc. Files that won't be needed for long, which are too large for e-mail, and to be shared internationally (posting USB sticks just would get expensive with today's postal rates!)

I'm also publishing the blog not as a defender of piracy (I said multiple times that if illegal, they should be shut down) but as somebody concerned about the precedent that is being set.

Online storage may not be 100% secure, but for 90% of my use case it makes the most sense. I'm certainly not alone in this.

Re: Forget Acquisitions: Apple control the Supply Lines

No worries. As mentioned by Randall, there are some differences in UK vs American English which are at play here ;)

Re: RIM placing focus on Talent Acquisition?

Yes and no. I can't think of any software out there that checks my Twitter / Blog reach and tracks that down to my LinkedIN - that would me a manual, human action and likely a wate of time.

Me writing a blog: I simply can't see why them putting $ into that right now is the best move. If you see Roberts comment below, it does genuinely seem to be a hiring campaign as he too was targeted.

Re: RIM placing focus on Talent Acquisition?

Thanks Robert. It is rather odd, for sure. I've got to wonder what the logic is, or if perhaps there is a genuine struggle for workers right now?

Re: Planning your Web Marketing channels

Thanks Spencer!

Re: Experiments In Realtime News: The Eqentia Streams

Congrats to William and the team.

Re: i am slowly going crazy 1-2-3-4-5-6 #smwto

Aww, Sheldon found true love at #WhatTheHashtag

Re: “Reality Touchscreen” Is 10 Meters Long, Accepts 100 Touch Inputs

So, where do I buy one? See my comment to Devesh.

@Leila: Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. It is much appreciated. I've read and love the Paul Graham article. For the last few months I have been trialling a new follow friday system (logic: http://alexblom.com/blog/20... example: http://alexblom.com/blog/20... ).

So far the results have been interesting and make the experiment worth continuing.

Alex
