FYI, Al Franken would have been the only real candidate to clearly be able to beat Trump. Because it takes a clown to be a clown and Al is a smarter clown than he is in an impromptu situation.

Re: Why Bolton’s Testimony on “Quid Pro Quo” is a Waste of Time

Hello everyone, haven't been to this site since Obama got elected and I was the chief complainer about the corrupt idea of WMD in Iraq and thus removing Saddam. On this site, I was repeatedly called a liberal and even black listed for commenting. That's okay, now you have your Trump who debated the Bush dynasty out of office and campaigned on not letting this sort absurd abuse of power happen again. So here we are, No Saddam and the Iranians taking over Iraq just as promised. Bolton was your poster boy in all the Frontpagemag articles mentioned and now he is about to betray the President that has probably done more for Israel since Truman nixed the original British Mandate. You Frontpagemag folks need to hope someone will assassinate this Bolton guy because he's about to throw all of you under the bus like no one has ever done before. So I obviously disagree with Joseph Klein here when he must have repeated at least four times in this article that "it doesn't matter". No Joseph, it does matter. Causes like Frontpagemag and others have been idolizing this nutcase for a very long time and he is about to sell a lot of books while throwing while inadvertently stabbing Israel in the back just for the sake to make millions on book sales and get noticed and feel important--- I wouldn't be surprised if he had something damaging to say about Trump's dealings with Natin-yawhoo. Why any of you would be okay with this kook being this close to the President with so much sensitive knowledge is beyond me. So I've returned to be your prophesier again with a grim prediction: Bolton's story will be contributing factor of what it will take to push Trump just enough over the edge to turn this Republican president into a one term disaster at election time. His tell all book will delay this trial enough to force Republican Senators to accept witnesses and for the whole world to hear his closet adviser, and extreme hawk at that, say out loud what most sane people already assume is true --- that Trump did extort an allied country with congressional funds to manipulate the election in his favor. What this does is it forces republican senators to face the outrage in their own states thus having the political clout to flip other seats to the dems. I still expect Trump to be acquitted but by a much slimmer margin thus being even more of a partisan president if thought possible. Just expect Trump to contribute to his own demise by continuing his absurdity. No amount of good economy is going to help him get out of being the most divisive President ever and causing us in the middle to sway to the left . Sorry to tell you this.

Re: Sen Bernie Sanders: America Needs "Political Revolution" in 2016

I read it somewhere just can't find it but here's an abstract from an article Robert Reich wrote that you can copy/paste:

"Fantasy? I don’t know Mr. Leonard’s age but perhaps he could be forgiven for not recalling that between the late 1940s and 1980 America’s highest marginal rate averaged above 70 percent. Under Republican President Dwight Eisenhower it was 91 percent. Not until the 1980s did Ronald Reagan slash it to 28 percent. I took it out of the back of my SUV and followed her. Mothers surrounded me and threatened to take my kid -- after I shoved one away and picked her up and walked away, they called the cops and all lied. The cops got real hostile with ME!! they gave me a citation for assault and child endangerment and the child protective services came to my house.

I basically told all them to mind their business and wiped my **s with the citation and will do it again in a heart beat.
