Happy we sparked a discussion! We creatives have to give each other courage!

Bartering has helped us work with amazing people and get amazing things! But when someone offers to buy us coffee and we can ... say "hypothetically" ... teach them Wordpress. We smile and send them an offer for an hour consulting session. Plus, I'm picky about coffee..... :)

On a related note, if someone is pretty savvy with business or networking, I'd happily take an hour of their time on consulting me on a particular topic. I just offered a friend 2 hours of consulting on his website for an hour of his time tweaking the story-telling on a few of our sites (he's a wizard at script-writing).

We both win, we both feel valued and we get to help our friends without getting hosed.

Stay Weird!
Adam

Re: Buckets & Spades - Men's Fashion, Design and Lifestyle Blog: Bellroy Travel & Elements Collection

The passport has be drooling. http://shopthreadonline.com carries them in Columbus and they're as great in real-life as they are online.

I dream about putting a tiny moleskin notebook in the passport sleeve!

Re: The Gift of Validation

So good Michael. I worked until 5am last night so that I could spend today with Allie celebrating 4 years of enjoying marriage.

The two values I want to be most known for are "effort" and "love."
