I agree with you, too, even if I don't have the needed input to validate that such a phenomenon is typical in the economic cycle of a new industry (but this clearly makes sense to me).

Το realtime sentiment απο τα labs του summize είναι πολλά υποσχόμενο, παλαιότερα είχαν κ το visualized reviews. Αν βγαλουν κ graph ως προς το χρόνο..

λίγο παλαιότερα είχαν sentiment analysis από blogs, reviews ktl, όχι μόν οtwitter. Τώρα έκλεισαν τα άλλα για να κάνουν focus στο twitter, μέχρι να το ξανανοίξουν ανανεωμένο (?), είδωμεν..

Η μη γραμμικότητα είναι κατά κανόνα εσκεμμένη. Οι δείκτες είναι συνήθως αναλογικοί, με τρόπο ώστε να αναλογεί μεγαλύτερο screen real estate στις 'κρίσιμες περιοχές' χωρητικότητας, για παράδειγμα κοντά στο άδειασμα. Αντίστοιχη τεχνοτροπία ισχύει και στο volume του τηλεκοντρόλ της τηλεόρασης για παράδειγμα, όπου η αύξηση της έντασης του ήχου ανά κλικ είναι σημαντικότερη σε μεγαλύτερες εντάσεις, από ότι σε μικρότερες, με τρόπο ώστε να προκύπτει αισθητή μεταβολή.
Τα επιχειρήματα περί μη χρήσης ψηφιακών μετρητών στα δοχεία καυσίμου ων αυτοκινήτων πιθανών να ανήκουν σε διαφορετική σφαίρα επιχειρηματολογίας :)

Faliron and Hellinikon are not in their final post-Olympic status yet, regarding their usages at least. And, regarding the Badminton theater, there is a conflict -maybe a tradeoff, too-, between 'could have been' and 'already it is', but, as I wrote before, I don't consider myself as the most appropriate person to handle such a debate.

I'd say it's time we move on from tags and labels like liberal/republican/independent/whatever, to something of more value nowadays, maybe like realistic vs attached-to-a-label is just enough, after all open minded and "free-lable" people always converge to the same realistic solutions.

So, to give you a proper reply, first of all I think that any attempt to mishandle customer data will be a safe suicide for a young start-up like ours. And we do look forward to building a brand with loyalty and secureness at its very core.
Next to that, you could always 'encrypt' your data, by for example just garbling the attributes' names and so on, while we're fixing the details of providing also an NDA for every single data set that we receive.

Νίκο, ευχαριστώ για την αναφορά, χαίρομαι που βρήκες την ανάλυση ενδιαφέρουσα, λίγα σχόλια παρακάτω.

Αρχικά, ο όρος 'κανόνες' είναι μετάφραση του αγγλικού 'rules', στη βιβλιογραφία αναφέρονται συνήθως ως 'decision rules' και στην πράξη αφορούν μοτίβα συμπεριφοράς που συσχετίζουν τις τιμές δύο μεταβλη΄των μεταξύ τους, εξ' ου και η μετάφραση που σωστά αναφέρεις.

Ο κανόνας 6 που αναφέρεις υποδεικνύει πως ένας χρήστης του twitter είναι κατά 76% και χρήστης του google reader ("if user_twitter=yes then user_greader=yes", επίσης, σωστά, το 'only' είναι συμμετοχή του δαίμονα του 'τυπογραφείου'), νούμερο το οποίο και επαληθεύει νομίζω τη διαίσθησή μας για ισχυρή επικάλυψη της κοινότητας των δύο υπηρεσιών.

Και ο συλλογισμός σου έχει πράγματι ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον, τείνω να συμφωνήσω και με τα συμπεράσματα αυτού, τέλος ευελπιστώ οι 258 κανόνες που περιλαμβάνονται στο παράρτημα της ανάλυσης να δώσουν περαιτέρω τροφή για σκέψη και χρήσιμο υλικό για περισσότερα συμπεράσματα.

Hi from Athens, Greece, I happen to met Andrew in the Start-up Weekend he organized in Athens and I was happy enough to spent some time with him, discussing -among others- how to create the "Start-up MBA" (a longer version of a Start-up Weekend).
To put it simply, Andrew is an enabler and if I were you I'd not just accept his application, but in parallel I'd hire him to bring my students closer to the fantastic world of entrepreneurship; the rest being history.
