I had a friend once who worked for Slow Food in Italy, but I also don't understand exactly what it is.

Re: Switzerland/France Photos

Your pictures make me want to be there. The air looks so clear and pollution free! Enjoy your travels and I look forward to more pictures and living vicariously through you!

Re: My List of 10 Things to Tell My Younger Self

Great list! I tried to think of some...but I only came up with one...haha...and promptly blogged about it, of course! I especially like #3 and #9. My mom always used to tell me #3 and #9 is pretty much my life philosophy right now!

Re: Fotografia de Matrimonio: Diana y Sebastian, Club de la Union, Santiago, Chile

I love this part of the cento and loooooved the shots you got outside on Calle Nueva York. I too am wayyyyy more careful now crossing the street. I'm glad you're back to work, that should make you feel better. Animo, chica!

Re: My Accident

Holy crap Kyle! I'm glad you're okay. At least the guy brought you to the hospital...although putting you in a room with someone with the swine flu wasn't the most brilliant idea! Sheesh. I'm going to be much more careful while crossing the street now. Chilean drivers are craaaaaazy.

Re: My Big Announcement

That's exciting! These are amazing.

And I agree with the masses. Color on the last one.

Re: Views on Upper Class Society in Chile

I agree with you too. I come from a farm family and we were by no means part of the upper class, but yet I was able to go to a really great college because of financial aid and scholarships and now I'm living abroad, something that someone from a small farm family (not talking agrobusiness here) in Chile would ever probably be able to.

Also, those statistics about charity in the US are super interesting. It's something I've never thought about, but makes total sense.
