According to news that no one should care about, Playboy made an offer to Kate Gosselin to pose for the magazine. Kate Gosselin turned them down, but some people are holding out that she'll appear in Thrown off a Cliff to Rabid Hungry Wolverines and Grizzly Bears Monthly. (Or that she'll be thrown off a cliff to rabid hungry wolverines and grizzly bears.) She turned Hefner down flat, and instead of posing nude will be further exploiting her children and failed marriage (which failed due to her henpecking – let's be honest) for money. Since Kate Gosselin gets $75,000 per episode of the inane and utterly rotten show she's on, she won't need a payday cash loan anytime soon.

Oh boy – another Apple announcement or "media event" for stuff we can buy that, if iTunes is any kind of reference point, will work slowly if at all, and people will pay a lot of money for it because they're that unfulfilled as people. At any rate, the Apple announcement is that they're unveiling a few things. There's Apple iTunes 9, and iTunes LP – which will include visual aids like liner notes for downloaded music. Steve Jobs was there, and he also announced updates to the Apple Store, which will tell you what applications to get. There's new iPods and other products to get, too, and each Apple announcement leads to people getting payday cash to buy more stuff.

Do you relish the idea of your heart exploding - if so you maya want to try deep fried butter. Deep fried butter is a horrible idea, but that didn't stop its creator, Abel Gonzales Jr., from doing it. He's unveiling it at the Texas State Fair. (THIS HAD to happen in the South.) Its described as a biscuit or croissant like breading, stuffed to the gills with butter and deep fried - my arteries are clogging just about reading it. Th is is horrible food, and quite franky, we have enough problems with obesity in this country without this guy. Seriously - everytime somebody eats deep fried butter, another cardiologist loses the need for a loan 'til payday.
