Funnily enough, I've part-read all five of those books on the GR Top Five Abandoned list. However, that's probably indicative of how slow a reader I am and thus how hard it is for me to get through books... A better indicator for me is possibly how far I get through a book (eg I have read up until part-way through the third book of LOTR, showing how much I enjoyed it).

Beautiful Chaos has a beautiful and chaotic cover -- well done, publishers.

I agree with you Sarah on the factual errors turning me right off. I can't stand it. Similarly, multiple typos really throw my concentration (and enjoyment) off -- the same goes for shorter-form writing (eg articles/blogs).

I saw that the first book involved "Moon" in the title, and what's more, was by an author named Sarah. I was ready to give it to Sarah (she seemingly loves books with "Moon" in the title)... until I noticed that this review was by Rebeca :)

1. The Italian Job is one of the best movies ever. I have both versions on DVD -- I prefer the original, marginally.

2. Count how many books you've read with "Moon" in the title. Seriously.

Sounds like an emotional, gut-wrenching read.

And I totally agree with the comments here about how much of a formative time the early 20s are -- a time which is sometimes ignored in its import.
