She did not care to be there. She put in minimal effort. She was very unpleasant to be around and made learning a chore.  My guess is that when you're teaching L2 classes your expectation is that you're doing little more than pushing a bunch of losers through the system. There's no reason to care or try. Well more often than not level 2 students aren't what you think. I'm going to assume you're a teacher and if so your attitude is the reason many kids think school=jail. &lt;br&gt;People who work hourly get overtime. Teaching has never been an hourly job.
