I am a PHP / Rails freelancer and am interested in this project. I've got a good amount of experience doing custom app creation along these lines, though less using the specific packages you mentioned. I can't vouch for the state of the road right now, but a year ago when I lived in Anchorage, the road was notorious for being a place that would shred your car to bits. This seems like wise use of the stimulus.

This seems like exactly the kind of thing the stimulus should be used for. Improving a public facility in a way that will save tax payers money down the road. A yes from me.

This isn't a list of federal funds. This is a list of projects submitted for funding by the mayors. So, if your area isn't listed, its because your mayor didn't request funding in the report.

Oh yea, I forgot about him. I had to go back and look this up. His name is Gary.

Also, another example against my point is "Frank," the CIA agent Tobias has a thing for from the "Mr. F" episode. Its not said explicitly, but its suggested that he's into Tobais too at the end of the episode.

One example I left off though was the group of gay dudes in the first episode that are protesting the yacht club. Several of them are even wearing dresses, for reasons that are supposed to be obvious.

So, I don't know if that makes the case more or less the case isn't as damming than I though initially, but its good to know other people noticed it too :-)

Yea, I think you're right. Somehow on this example it just seemed like they were going for some kind of cheap conflict. I don't know enough about the personalities behind the show to blame Adam Davidson vs. anyone else, but this wasn't their finest hour.
