When I was an active comic book collector, I used to have dreams much like this, finding previously-unknow and amazing-looking graphic novels by my favorite creators hidden away in some basement store. Weirdly, I don't remember ever being barred from buying them, there was always the sense that once I picked them up I had achieved a great victory and the book was mine, although of course I always woke up before I read it.

I spent $55 on my first Super 7 Ultimates figure recently, the GI Joe Cobra BAT comic color version. I love how loose the head and feet are and how the backpack pegs don't line up correctly and make the backpacks basically unusable. I definitely feel like this figure is worth at least 10% of what I paid for it, maybe 15%.

Seriously, how does this line even continue to exist?

This is a $20 figure at best. There's nothing about it that justifies the price gouging. Marvel Legends is so far off the rails that the search parties are looking for them in the woods.
