hey cat i know the snow is flying chicago like it is here in pennsylvania but i'm ready for another great year of softball. catching all the games at Firestone park in Akron last year was awesome especially when you came in and shut them down friday, no hit them saturday and finished them sunday! Some of the Racers said "you just don't know whats' coming at you". Your're the best in the game for sure and i'll catch as many Thunder games as i can next year. Till then be careful and give Tucker a hug from all your fans here in Pa!

Glad to hear your holidays went well mine too. Course getting a little figity waiting for spring and a whole new softball season. Tucker has grown up quite a bit i see. He probably follows you around all time like mine do. I saw your snowboarding pics. Looks like you had fun but be careful my friend took up the sport and wiped out on her first trip to the mountains and broke her arm in 4 places! Ouch. Hey Cat i'm glad to hear your doing well. Tucker looks like he's getting big i know i have 2 furry boys of my own. i was in akron 2 weeks ago (my sister lives there). in fact she lives right down the street from firestone park where the racers play. i plan on catching some of the games next season. for sure when rockford comes to town i'll be there. its' good to hear your still busy and attending functions. well i'll be off to work shortly. maybe catch a football game then take off. take care

Hey Cat glad to have you home and promising to still play....i saw the picture in usa today naming you as the person placing her cleats on home plate and i thought "thats not her" but the caption says it is so i wonder who was it?....well i dont want to lose anyone from this team to retirement or anywhere else....i am very proud to be a supporter of you and a supporter of the USA team! since joining the sport as a fan some years ago i have friends and co workers watching the sport ( i supply them with schedules).....thank you so much for being there and playing as hard as you do! as soon as you come in my area to play or be at a show i will be there to get my #8 shirt signed....and remember

Hey Cat, I hope your feeling well! I've been reading messages on this blog off and on all day between finishing painting my house all I can say is AMAZING! What incredible fans you have and reading the last two from the Warrior softball team really shows how important you are to the youth of this country. It truley has been a privledge watching you play and reading your messages from China. If there are letters the fans can write to reinstate softball in 2016 i'll bet all of us will do it. Well i'll bet your anxious to get home to Chicago and "kick back" for a bit. My nephew lives up there and loves it!....well take some special time and find a nice place for that medal you deserved it.

Hey Cat, well its' 11:34 am here and 11:34 pm there. I was just at a local home improvment center with my #8 USA Softball shirt on and the check out girl said she watched the games and said she was happy for the team getting a medal. I think it was great she only cared about a medal not its' mettalic origin. Well i'll be keeping up with the blog from time to time as I continue painting my house and remember its' not the size of the trophy its' the size of the heart it took to earn it....

Hey Cat, I was just painting my living room. Every once in a while i would check the blog and read the amazing comments from so many wonderful fans. Some were short and some were long but all had so many great and justified comments. You have awesome and dedicated fans and they are proud they are your fans. Such an awesome group i've had the privledge to read. Your the best!

Hey Cat, I got up this morning and before I left for work I got to see you strike out the side in the first. I said that's the Cat i know. Kicking the dirt pointing to Stacey and throwing strikes....this will be the Cat i will always remember no matter what color the medal is, If every girl across this country would follow in your footsteps and live their dream there would be a lot of very sucessful young women out there! Thank you so much for the great games! I'm sure when you get home and unpack you'll sit down smile at the fun the challenges and overall experience in Japan. Cat, i finally had to go to bed at 2:15 am (had to get up at 6:00 am) so i missed crytls hit shes' AMAZING! With this team theres' no doubt the GOLD is yours. i'm sorry i'll miss the gold medal game cause i leave for work just as you the your first strike of what i know will be many. i predict a "no - hitter" and it ends in the fifth. Hey Cat, awesome game last night, i work at 6am and the games end at 3! I wouldnt miss any of them.
