I totally get your weirdness at the Uber Celebrity Treatment thing. I see it here in Australia with some bands - not with you, cause your fans here are the bloggy type, but a few American pop-punk bands I know, when I see them while working in the States it's like, they just hang out with fans, they're not 'famous' but when they come over here, kids who know of them treat them like U2, swarming them, waiting at airports and stuff.

congratufuckinglations bro, it was only a matter of time. i personally have always been shocked that guilty pleasure did not shoot up the charts, it's one of the best pop songs ever written. sometimes i feel like that maybe you didn't 'pop' because it was too clever for people to feel comfortable with, but finally, finally, they are getting it.

it's sweet as - you own, right? i'd never be able to do that with a rented place, at least here in australia. we're not even allowed to paint it. i can't wait to own and make it all cool but i doubt i will ever have the talent to come up with the ideas myself. i should make a scrapbook of ideas i like or something.
