As an 11-year resident of Kensington who has donated to the replacement of our beloved community sign, I would like my voice heard. I support the design that Dr. Koenig is pursuing on our behalf; it is safer that the previous sign. I do not understand why the Historical Resources Section and SOHO are not more supportive. I look forward to the day when our Kensington sign is complete and installed.

There are costs associated with feeding and caring for animals -- and no responsible pet owner would balk at reimbursing the Humane Society for this much appreciated service. Please don't twist this story to promote your own political agenda.
