It is swiss chard season here in the Great Plains, so there is plenty of fresh chard. The tapenade is amazing and we will use it for other green veggies.

Re: Caramel Sauce

Hi Gretchen,

Since I'm dairy-allergic I made this recipe with coconut substitutes: coconut sugar, coconut full-fat milk from the can and coconut oil instead of butter. It came out amazing! Does not taste like coconut at all. Thank you so much for your video -- caramel is my favorite flavor and I was afraid I'd have to give it up entirely!

Re: Gingerbread Bundt Cake Recipe

Gingerbread is my favorite cake flavor, but this went way above and beyond! I had to serve it at a party for my family and wanted to hide it in the back so they couldn't have any (he he). It never would have turned out that well if I hadn't watched your video and learned WHY you alternate dry and wet and what creaming fats and sugar really means. Next, I'm going to try the caramel, but with coconut sugar and full fat coconut milk, or maybe just the cream.

Re: Gingerbread Bundt Cake Recipe

I followed your instructions exactly. This was the best, bar none, gingerbread I have ever tasted!

Re: Bobbi's Kozy Kitchen: BLT Potato Salad #BaconMonth

I make something similar as MY FAMOUS potato salad. Never thought of adding bacon and roasted tomatoes. This looks delicious.

Re: Santorum to sick kid: Don’t complain about $1 million drug costs

Abilify is not a drug used to treat life-threatening diseases...it's used to treat schizophrenia and, in fact, will probably kill the child. Rick Santorum's statements sicken me, but someone should take the "keeping the child alive" garbage out of this report.

Re: Time Is A Blogger’s Best Friend

Thanks! I'd never considered doing a blog before, and am a bit shy about making it known, but your comments make it well worth while.

I'll definitely look around for another theme that works better.

Re: Time Is A Blogger’s Best Friend

Thanks for writing this article. I'm not sure if I want to have lots of traffic -- haven't submitted to any sites or anything. My blog is a story with a message -- that each of us are responsible for our own health, and if we abdicate that responsibility to someone else (like doctors), then the damage created is only our own fault. It will be published when it's completed.

On the other hand, I've also posted my husband's amazing paintings which I think, in my most generous moments, should be shared with the world.

I noticed that you posted to someone else on the subject of their blog -- could you look at mine?

www.youownyourhealth.com
