Can't you get everyone a job first? It's kinda hard raising money from people who are not earning. Now the hard working has to flip the bill for the states mishaps. The theory is now that we have paid 4 dollars a gallon they can ride off of that and use that as a standard of thought.

Still let them have it AIG is a bunch of overpaid pigs! No company should be bailed out with our tax money, without job rehiring as a contingency. Who gets all this debt money, the electric company. They get it and piss it away in debt payments. Then want to give a bonus???? The nation made an error bailing them out, let them merge with someone more responsible. We are now over vested!

Road repairs uh? They patch the holes and make raised bumps instead. Tear them all up and do it right the first time! I'll pay the increase as long as they do it right!! I'm not paying a fuel increase for a quick fix until the next year. We need a promise that we are paying for "NEW" roads!! If you keep patching a road it's not helping much, just turns into bubble gum in the summer, then fall apart.

If politicians really cared they would work for 50k a year. That's plenty. Just because you wave a wand doesn't mean you don't play an instrument too. It's hard to believe that someone cares about the people's woes yet can be paid so well at their expense. mmm... Oh I'm sorry politicians need bigger houses to keep their minds on the people.
