Giving Markstrom at 30 and soon to be 31 a NMC would be a death sentence for this team. It would be Luongo/Schneider ver. 2.0. Perhaps sign Markstrom but don’t give him a NMC. Maybe even give him more $$$ but stipulate there will be no NMC. Then either trade his rights or leave him exposed in the expansion draft. I really think Demko is the real deal. Apparently according to sources he has the right demeanour to be a great goaltender. Cool, calm and collected plus 6 years younger.

Yeah, as much as I’d like to see Sven and Loui gone I’m not sure anyone wants them, especially Sven with his concussion history but I agree Virtanen needs to go. He’ll never live up to his draft pick status and maybe going elsewhere will give him the kick in the ass he needs to up his game. He certainly has the tools, he just doesn’t seem to want to use them.

I got an online offer of 20GB’s for $74.73/month including tax from Fido. I was paying $64.92/month for 8GB with an additional 2GB bonus. Once I saw this “deal especially for you” I jumped all over it.

Got the exact same response. Tried to upgrade me to $70 and right now I pay $64.92 taxes included for 10GB. I really thin Fido is lying here and giving it to people who spend a fortune with them or have connections.

Not sure about you but that’s enough for me. I’m currently @ 300mbps with Bell so I can’t see a 50mbps drop to be a significant enough drop for me. I’ll be saving $40 a month and I’m all about saving cash.

I pay $64.92 taxes in per month with Fido for 10GB’s per month. I have had this plan now for two years straight (going on three). When you live in the Ottawa region & the Pig 3 have competition from Videotron you can twist their arm to get a better deal than you poor souls out west.
