I learned nothing from this investigative piece except that it shows what a huge mistake out Governor Richardson made by repealing the death penalty. Since capital punishment was still in effect when Clifton Bloomfield confessed to these recreational killings, he probably would have had no reason to make a plea bargain if it were not in effect.
