other browsers effectively "clear" floated elements with your min-height, IE does not. you have to specify with a clear rule. half the comments about IE bugs in this post could be solved with that noted.

Head's up, folks: This footer does NOT work in any version of IE, including the most recent, if you have ANY floated elements in the body. Resizing the window will leave the footer high and dry, overlapping content. This footer is too simplistic for most modern layouts in IE.

I don't need to look it up. I'm 30. I've been in singles wards for 10 years. I wrote the book on it. The "nice guy" syndrome is old news.

The point was simply that some women, like teacups, put all the blame on the men in the singles wards for not liking them, for not being likeable, for being a "nice guy," instead of taking some responsibility for why they aren't married.

And as a guy, I tend to give the guys more slack. This is because I've met more men who are more open-minded when it comes to women than women are when it comes to men. At the end of the day however, we tend to go for women who are more attainable.

I cannot say the same thing about girls in the YSA ward. They are so fixated on getting their "perfect guy"/male celebrity look-a-like with a testimony that it prevents them from dating the awesome guys in the YSA wards who'd be more than willing to give them a chance even if the girls themselves are flawed. I've seen this from experience and feel like too many girls are raising the bar while the guys are lowering it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with raising the bar; however, when it means that girls are holding onto their unrealistic expectations while guys marry complete duds out of desperation, that's when it becomes a problem.
